Skiing & Snowboarding

A skiing day on the Kronplatz in the Dolomites offers all the prerequisites for a perfect day on the slopes. The gently sloping mountain between Bruneck, St. Vigil and Olang, with its wide, almost treeless slopes and 119 km of prepared slopes and 32 modern lifts, is one of the top winter sports destinations in the Dolomites. Regarding the slopes it has something to offer for everyone, whether you are a beginner, an occasional rider or a professional racer. everything is offered, what ski beginners, occasional Wedler and runners professionals want. Long valley runs for wide, relaxed turns as well as the 'Black Five', the five black slopes on Kronplatz, which are also tricky for expert riders. A host of employees ensures unadulterated winter fun on and off the slopes.

Cross-country skiing

A few steps from our house you will find the "Kronspur" cross-country trail. If the temperatures allow it, the trail is ready in early December.
Enjoy over 5 kilometers of perfectly groomed and admission-free cross-country trails.

Sledding

If you like it comfortable and want to avoid a climb on foot, then you are in the right place at the Kronplatz ski resort: the "Korer" sled run is located directly at the valley station in Reischach. After a comfortable ride with the "Korer" gondola, you can ride down the "Korer" slope down to the valley station.
There are also numerous alpine huts which offer winter sledding nearby.

Ice skating

In the Reischach sports area, just a 5-minute walk away, there is an ice rink, where you can practice your skating. This facility is also free of admission.

Ski touring

The Puster Valley is a true paradise for ski tourers and offers promising destinations for all skill levels.
The most popular ski touring destinations in the South Tyrolean Puster Valley are the Tauferer Ahrntal Valley, the Gsieser Valley, the Hochpustertal Valley and the Pragser Valley in the middle of the Pragser Dolomites. With us, you are in an ideal starting position.

Snow-shoeing

Snow-shoeing is considered a very popular winter sport activity here. The snowy mountains and slopes of the Puster Valley are ideal for this sport. The magical silence of a winter landscape lets you forget your everyday worries and recharge your batteries.
Snow shoes and related equipment can be rented at one of the local rental services.
If you have any difficulties with orientation or you do not want to plan and do the tour on your own, you can also book a guided snowshoe hike.
